LADY GAGA REVEALS BEAUTY SECRET

Lady Gaga is only 28 but she is already using facelift tape, but for a specific reason.
"When I have my wig cap on and I'm taping my face, it's a sort of meditation for me," the pop diva said. "Every day, it starts the same way. It's like a mantra. I wash my face, I pin my hair back and put on a wig cap and I ask, 'How am I going to form my eyes today with this tape? How will I pull back my neck with tape?'" She uses the tape to shape her cheeks and eyes, and for an honest reason. "Looking artificial can be honest," she confessed. "Being glamorous can come from a place of authenticity and a place of love."

If you say so, Gaga! What is your favorite Lady Gaga look?

MEET LADY GAGA'S ADORABLE NEW 'BATPIG' (A.K.A. FRENCH BULLDOG) ASIA!

Looks like there’s one more little monster added to Lady Gaga’s fan base—and this adorable little creature may actually be a monster! The 28-year-old posted a video of the newest member of her family, Asia, a French bulldog pup—who she affectionately declared to be a “Batpig.”
“Her name is Asia. She is a BATPIG. I love her, I’m her mom,” the songstress captioned an adorable video of the pup on Instagram.

On her website, Gaga also shared a picture of Asia sitting on her lap and wrote “Me and my BATPIG #partBAT #partPIG.”
While Asia is simply a French bulldog—and therefore neither bat, nor pig—it’s easy to see how Mother Monster came up with the nickname, thanks to Asia’s scrunched little face and her long ears!

Asia’s arrival comes months after Gaga tragically lost her childhood dog, Alice. “My puppy Alice died. We had to put her down, cancer ate away at a little angel,” she tweeted in October.
“My daddy is so sad, we all are, lost a member of our family.” While no one can replace her beloved Alice, hopefully Asia can help put a smile on Lady Gaga’s face—she’s already brightened our day!

LADY GAGA LAST NIGHT

DUBAI ARE YOU READY FOR LADY GAGA?

Fans of Lady Gaga in the UAE have fired up the social media chatter as news filters down that ‘Born This Way’ singer has a date with Dubai on September 10.
Several fan sites and Twitter accounts dedicated to the five-time Grammy winner have announced the news, stating an official confirmation will only come mid-May.
Twitter handle Lady Gaga News ‏stated: “Lady Gaga will bring artRAVE to Dubai on September 10th, 2014! Tickets go on sale May 15th. Official announcement released on May 12th.” Gaga Daily, a fan site of the singer also stated a similar story, saying: “Sources from Dubai are reporting an official announcement of Gaga’s artRAVE in Dubai in September, most likely the 10th, will come within the next couple of weeks. “Nothing is 100 per cent official yet, since neither Live Nation or Gaga announced it, but we’ll have to wait a bit.”
A reply to an email query to the Dubai-based Done Events to confirm whether they are organising the local concert is yet awaited. However, UAE-based fans or ‘Little Monsters’ [as they are popularly referred to] of the American pop singer couldn’t contain their excitement. Monster Mody tweeted: “Lady Gaga is coming to Dubai on September 10th 2014! My life just ended!.”
Casablancas said: “Is it true that Lady Gaga is coming to Dubai? I’m gonna cry. Please tell me it's true. Oh my.” Mrinali Mathur, a school-going fan of Gaga, said: “I am so going to save up my pocket money to attend her concert. Lady Gaga is my icon. Please let this news be true.” Yousif Abdullah said: “I’m freaking out! Lady Gaga is coming to Dubai. Get me there.”
Gaga, who’s real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, shot up the charts back in 2008 with her debut album, ‘The Fame’, which included breakthrough hits ‘Just Dance’ and ‘Poker Face’. In 2009, ‘The Fame Monster’ cemented her starry rise to the top with number-one tracks including ‘Bad Romance’ and ‘Alejandro’. Gaga has continued her winning innings with ‘Born This Way’ in 2011, with ‘Artpop’, which released in November 2013, became her second number one album in the US.
Not new to controversy with her artistic fashion sense – who can forget that meat dress – and her underlying tiff with Madonna and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, few can question Gaga’s influence on the music scene having sold an estimated 24 million albums and 125 million singles worldwide.

ABOUT G.U.Y

“G.U.Y. (Girl Under You)” is a power-bottom anthem. It was one of the first tracks to be recorded for the album. “Any kind of feminist has valid views for herself about what it means to be a feminist, but, as a new-age feminist, I would say I quite like the transference of strength I feel by submitting to a man – being under him. I actually wrote a song about it on my album, it’s called GUY and it stands for Go Under You. So wearing make-up, smelling delicious and having suckable, kissable, edible things between your limbs is something I find strengthening because I know that when I pick the right guy, I can let him have it. Some women feel oppressed by make-up and clothing, and here’s to them, they have every right to feel that way as well.” — Lady Gaga for Stylist

TAYLOR KINNEY AND LADY GAGA K.I.S.S.I.N.G: IS MARRIAGE NEXT?

You know how it goes...
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage! Well, they might not be there quite yet, but Taylor Kinney and Lady Gaga are totally in love and aren't afraid to show the world in their latest kissing photo. And we can't help but wonder if marriage is in the works anytime soon.... Gaga took to her website to share this adorable photo of her passionately placing a big wet one right on Kinney's lips! She even cut the romantic pic into a heart shape...
But was the crop to show their love or to hide that finger?
If you notice in the photo, Gaga has mysteriously cut her ring finger out of the photo, and it gave me a slight suspicion that maybe, just maybe Kinney finally proposed last night. After all, he's been on the hunt for a ring the last couple weeks... Guess we'll just have to wait and see! And while we do, please feel free to bask in all their love while looking upon their make out sesh.

Lady Gaga is taking her current album ‘ARTPOP’ on a world tour which will begin on the 4th of May and the star has been teasing fans with little bits of information here and there.
The album, which features the singles ‘Applause’ and ‘Do What U Want,’ is going to be promoted on a tour that Lady Gaga herself says is completely different to anything she’s done before.
The Poker Face star is a very creative person. She is known for rocking up to shows and press events wearing the most bizarre things that get everyone talking, so when she started talking about ‘artRave: The ARTPOP Ball’ world tour we really weren’t all that surprised to hear it would be a bit kooky.

Gaga has taken to Twitter to tell her fans to expect something “unlike anything we’ve ever done” and told her fans to “Get ready to party.” The ‘Applause’ superstar has spoken about the tour in various interviews since it was announced and has been teasing all her little monsters with tiny pieces of information.
She’s previously said that the world tour will have “moments of creative revolution” throughout though what she means by that, we aren’t 100% but it’s got our attention! The star also shared a photo of what the stage will look like, which you can see below. Speaking recently with BBC Radio 1, Gaga explained that her shows will be one big party. She said: “The stage is these huge panels that really engulf the whole audience to the centre of the arena.
The Poker Face singer continued: “But they also have space underneath them for you to walk, so you can look up underneath the stage at the dancers and me.” “There’s a VIP area for special fans who’ve got tickets to sit inside the stage and have their own bar. It’s all really fun and it’s a big art rave.”
While the world tour kicks off next month Lady Gaga will be visiting the UK on her tour in October much to the delight of her fans.

LADY GAGA POSTS AN INTIMATE SELFIE OF HERSELF IN A LOVING EMBRACE

She was down in the dumps last week after having her wisdom teeth extracted. But Lady Gaga seemed to be fully recovered as she shared a sweet picture of her and boyfriend Taylor Kinney kissing on Thursday. In the snap framed inside a heart shared via Gaga’s Little Monsters website, the couple are in a deep embrace as they lock lips together.

Taylor, 32, met 28-year-old Gaga on the set of her You and I music video in 2011, the two have been dating ever since. Gaga appeared to be wearing a very ornate sliver sequined top in the photo and had her platinum blond hair twisted in halo around her head.
Wearing a full face of make-up, the Born This Way hitmaker’s eyes were closed in a moment of bliss. Her beau wore a black jacket and maroon baseball cap that he wore facing backward and looked to be equally content. It's unclear when the picture was taken, but despite rarely being seen together, the couple are clearly still going strong.
Actor Taylor has been doing the promotional rounds for his new movie The Other Woman. He stars in the comedy alongside Kate Upton, Leslie Mann and Cameron Diaz Lady Gaga is gearing up for her new tour ArtRave: The Artpop Ball, which will start in May. The Just Dance singer could not contain her excitement on her upcoming gigs , so she took to Twitter on Thursday and wrote: ‘This tour is unlike anything we've ever done! Get ready to PARTY’

She said earlier in the week on the social networking site: ‘I'm so excited for tour, I'm going to give ARTPOP the celebration it deserves. Every night, raging inspired moments of creative revolution.’ Gaga, whose given name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, was forced to abruptly cancel the North American leg of her previous Born This Way tour in February 2013 due to a hip injury. Her new tour will start in Florida and will includes dozens of shows in North America as well as 24 in Europe and several in Asia. The tour is scheduled to end on November 10. The singer announced earlier this week that a show will be held in Seoul, South Korea in August as part of the AIA Real Life: NOW Festival.

LADY GAGA'S FOUNDATION SUPPORTS YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH DISCUSSIONS - ALL BY TEXT MESSAGING

Texting offers new way to get youth engaged in mental health discussions.
Creating Community Solutions and Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation are sponsoring a texting conversation about mental health. All you need to chime in is a cell phone. The latest digital mental health discussion for and between young people kicks off today.
An emerging mental health “conference” offers a new kind of group rapport: a conversation entirely conducted by texting
.
The latest digital mental health discussion for and between young people kicks off today. “We specifically wanted to do this through a text messaging platform to appeal to youth,” said Raquel Goodrich, the online engagement manager for the National Institute for Civil Discourse. “This could be a really good way to get youth talking about mental health.” The event is called “Text, Talk, Act to Improve Mental Health.” To participate, gather three or four friends and text START to 89800.

The "conversation" takes about an hour – every time you text in, you get a text back with a different discussion question – and once in a while you'll receive polling questions and a link to a website with the polling results, which also allows you to view all the different responses and ideas that have been texted in.

Occasionally, people text in who are in crisis. To make sure they get immediate assistance, one of the first texts people receive is the number for the national hotline for mental health crises. “There is a major need to get youth talking about mental health,” said Goodrich. “This is something that helps inspire people to talk about mental health.” The first Text, Talk, Act took place in December. About 600 phone lines texted in, with the National Institute for Civil Discourse estimating 2,400 participants. “This time, we anticipate a much larger turnout,” said Goodrich. Part of the enhanced participation comes from the endorsement and partnership of Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation; as well as stipends offered to youth organizers.

This time, 26 of them signed up. The event in principally run by Creating Community Solutions, a partnership between various “deliberative democracy” organizations created as a part of the National Dialogue on Mental Health. The National Dialogue was created by Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Department of Education Secretary Arne Duncan after President Barack Obama called for a “national conversation to increase understanding about mental health.”
According to CCS, deliberative democracy is “what happens when people are able to engage meaningfully with each other and with government in order to produce better decisions and better solutions to public problems.” Community conversations, whether in person or via text messaging – certainly fit into this definition.
When celebrities get rich enough, we expect them to become philanthropists. So, Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation, launched in 2011, makes sense to most of us. When you think about Lady Gaga, what comes to mind is probably flamboyant sexuality and a dedication to individualism no matter how unusual, so the foundation's mission to “foster a more accepting society, where differences are embraced and individuality is celebrated,” also makes sense.
The organization is focused around young people: providing them “with the skills and opportunities they need to build a kinder, braver world.” With the foundation's focus on youth, getting involved in a youth mental health discussion is right up their alley.
The Born This Way Foundation is run by both Gaga and her mother, Cynthia Germanotta. At the December 2013 White House conference that led to the development of the National Dialogue on Mental Health, Germanotta met Caroline Lukensmeyer, the executive director of the NICD.
While they kept in touch, “it wasn't until we created the TTA that we found a natural partnership,” according to Goodrich.

LADY GAGA'S 'GUY': LISA VANDERPUMP, KYLE RICHARDS ON HOW REAL HOUSEWIVES GOT CAST

"She wanted us to feel and look beautiful and fierce," Richards tells THR of the elaborate Hearst Castle video shoot. Adds Vanderpump: "Brandi Glanville wasn't there ... so that was a bonus."

Lady Gaga’s opulent, eye-popping “G.U.Y” video is a prime example of what the singer does best: complete sensory overload. During the 11-minute clip, the self-directed video filmed in California’s palatial Hearst Castle depicts the singer as a broken bird wounded and left for dead by money-hungry men in suits. It shows her resuscitating the comatose bodies of Jesus Christ, Ghandi and Michael Jackson. It features synchronized swimmers, massed oiled troops of undraped male extras and Bravo’s reality czar Andy Cohen smiling shirtlessly down from the heavens.

The video also makes room for the stars of Cohen’s most durable franchise, the Real Housewives. Five featured players from the Beverly Hills iteration, Lisa Vanderpump, Yolanda Foster, Carlton Gebbia and Kyle and Kim Richards show up lip-syncing and pseudo-strumming instruments.

Two Housewives, Kyle Richards and Vanderpump, herself a veteran of the classic 1983 ABC video “Poison Arrow,” accompany Gaga as she wreaks homicidal revenge on the corporate clones who left her facedown in the dirt at the outset of the video.
How did they get the job? What was Gaga like as a director? And how did the famously volatile Housewives stand being around one another? The Hollywood Reporter got the lowdown from Vanderpump and Kyle Richards.

How were you approached to be in the video?

Kyle Richards: Bravo contacted me and said you’ve been asked to be in a video. We had to sign a nondisclosure agreement before we found out who it was. I was so curious, and then when I saw, I was completely blown away.

Lisa Vanderpump: I had a pretty rough time on Housewives this year to the point that when they came to me and asked me to do it, I said: “Let the others do it. I’m not having a good time with the other women.” Then they said, “It’s Lady Gaga.” I have a bit of a history with her because she’s been supportive of Vanderpump Rules, she’s even tweeted about it, and that’s a big deal when you’ve got 40 million followers. But I spoke to Andy [Cohen] and said, “I don’t feel up to spending the day with these other women -- they’re just too mean and bitchy.” Next day, the phone rings, and a voice says, “Hi Lisa, it’s Lady Gaga,” and I said, “Right, and I’m Winston Churchill.” Suddenly, Andy was in the background going, “Lady Vanderpump meet Lady Gaga.” I said I’d do it, but on one condition. I want backup. I want the Giggster (Giggy, her trademark Pomeranian). She said, “I’d love to have the Giggster in it.”

This is gaga's first time directing a video. How did she do?

Richards: I was so impressed watching her direct. She’s an absolute artistic genius and perfectionist. It was a huge production, but she’d take the time go over and make sure the swimmers were OK. She was just professional and hands on from A to Z.

Vanderpump: She’s very much in control. It wasn’t like she was a shadow director in any shape or form. It’s hard to understand that she’s, what, 28 years old? To me, that was mind-blowing. This is a much older head on very young shoulders.

Was she aware of your TV personas?

Richards: We talked a lot about the show, and as we talked, I was thinking, “I can’t believe she watches our show and knows all about my life.” There was one scene in the video where it was just Lady Gaga and me, and she looked back and said something like, “This is just like what happened in that scene with [Richards' husband] Mauricio.”

Vanderpump: She’s very Bravo-aware. She’s right in the center of pop culture, and Housewives is very much of the culture. I think you’d be surprised how many people watch it; people come up to me that I think would never watch our hot mess. I think the first lady even said she watches it.

Did she communicate a clear idea of what she wanted from you?

Richards: She wanted us to feel and look beautiful and fierce. There was one scene where I kill a man. She was like, “I want you to whip that ponytail even more. Go back and really exaggerate your head-flipping. I was like, “Whatever you say.” Even if I get whiplash, it’s OK. Lady Gaga told me to do it.

Vanderpump: To get me into a lace bodysuit, there’s not many people I’d do that for. I’m 53 years old, for God’s sake. She said, “This is what you’re wearing.” I looked at this thing, and it was lace head-to-toe lingerie. I thought, “Jesus,” but then I thought, “OK, you’re Lisa Gaga."

The four Housewives first show up in the video as a band-playing instruments. Was there jockeying for position over who sits where or who plays what?

Richards: When Lisa and I shot with [Gaga] alone, she told us we were going to be playing a girl band, and I said, “Oh, can I please play the guitar?" I’d been taking lessons; I’m a frustrated rock star. So they gave me a guitar. I know how to hold it. I know the right key ... not the key. See how professional I am?

Vanderpump: Gaga gave me a tambourine. That’s the only instrument I could be trusted with. What do you think of the finished product? Richards: Wow, it’s art. It’s beautiful art. Lisa, did you get on with the other women? Vanderpump: I had to, really. One wasn’t there, and that was Brandi Glanville. So that was a bonus. You can quote me on that.

LADY GAGA'S STAGE UNICORN TO INSPIRE DOSS, OTHERS IN 'CREATURE SHOP'

Lady Gaga’s stage unicorn takes a break from touring the world to visit the Creature Shop and serve as inspiration for this week’s Creature Brief. And Fort Irwin’s Melissa Doss will be among the contestants challenged to design and build creatures that will come to life in the SyFy reality TV show that airs at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Doss survived last week’s episode and will be among six contestants that are eligible win up to $100,000 and an opportunity to work at the world-renowned Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
The others still competing are Russ Adams of Ogden, Utah; Ben Bayouth of Woodland Hills; Robert Bennett of Orlando, Fla.; Jake Corrick of Belle Vernon, Pa.; and Lex Rudd of Guerneville. According to the brief from the show’s hosts, Gigi Edgley and Brian Henson, smoke pours into the shop as Gaga’s unicorn gallops through the doors. To highlight the movement of their creatures, designers must use UV paint to distinguish the anatomy in motion under black lights.
In this three-day build, the creature designers work in pairs to construct creatures that move with life-like motion, according to NBC Universal spokesperson Brenda Lowry. While two teams have a very similar plan, Lowry says the other team takes a very different approach.
Creature Shop mechanization supervisor John Criswell serves as master this week and guides the designers through their build.
The Creature Shop is partly transformed into a black light box for testing and the Henson puppeteers operating the creatures come into the workshop for rehearsal. The black light screen test takes place on the legendary Henson Sound Stage in Hollywood and one designer is named the winner of this challenge while one is eliminated from the competition.

FROM LADY GAGA TO BRUNO MARS: TEN CELEBRITIES WHO HAVE CHANGED THEIR NAMES

Did you really think that Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga were born with those names?

What’s in a name? Well for some celebrities things might have been very different if they hadn’t have changed theirs. Think Stefani Germanotta sounds like a star? What about Caryn Johnson? Things might have been very different for these 10 celebrities if they hadn’t found the perfect name to launch their careers.

Lady Gaga
Born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, the aspiring singer was given the Gaga nickname by her then boyfriend music producer Rob Fusari, after the Queen song, ‘Radio Gaga’. Gaga later told Flybe magazine that she added the Lady “because Gaga is sort of crazy and Lady has such connotations. I went to a private school but now I was living in this trash glitter environment. So, for me, it was the perfect description of who I had become.”

But also...

Whoopi Goldberg
Caryn Johnson got her rather unusual moniker due to her, well, flatulence. Whoopi stated in a 2013 interview that she was given the name Whoopi after the whoopee cushion and that Goldberg was a “family name”.

Portia De Rossi
The elegant sounding De Rossi was actually born the less exciting Amanda Lee Rogers. The Australian actress felt she needed a better sounding name to reinvent herself and thus chose Portia after a character from William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice, and an Italian last name which she thought sounded more exotic.

Nicolas Cage
You probably know that Cage is the nephew of famed Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola, but early on in his career Nicolas didn't want anyone thinking he was getting special treatment thanks to his famous relative. The actor decided to change his surname to Cage which was partly inspired by the Marvel Comics superhero Luke Cage.

Bruno Mars
Bruno was born with the much more down to earth name, Peter Gene Hernandez. Bruno was actually the singer’s childhood nickname, given to him by his father who thought his young son resembled legendary wrestler Bruno Sammartino. As for the ‘Mars’ part, Bruno said, “I felt like I didn't have [any] pizzazz, and a lot of girls say I’m out of this world, so I was like I guess I'm from Mars.”

Lana Del Rey
Would Lizzie Grant have made it as a star? Well she didn’t think so and thus Lizzie Grant became Lana Del Rey. The ‘Born to Die’ singer explained the name change by saying, “I knew that I wanted a name that sounded sort of exotic and reminded me of the seaside on the Floridian coast. ‘Lana Del Rey’ sounded beautiful.” In another interview she also stated her original name just never spoke to her and that she wanted a name which was “as beautiful as the music I was going to make.”

Vin Diesel
Action hero Vin Diesel started life with the much less heroic name, Mark Vincent. When choosing a name to launch his career he borrowed from his surname and then added Diesel after his childhood nickname which he earned thanks to his non stop energy.

Nicki Minaj
Rapper Nicki Minaj’s was born Onika Tanya Maraj. Her first choice of stage name was Nicki Maraj, with the Nicki coming from a childhood nickname, but the Minaj happened after a suggestion from former manager Big Fendi who felt she needed to shake up her surname.

Agyness Deyn
Aspiring model Laura Hollins thought she needed a more stand out name when launching her modelling career. The story goes that Laura settled on the name Agyness, after her grandmother, but consulted a numerologist on what was the best way to spell it. Deyn comes from the surname Dean which was already in her family, but the model adapted it so it had the numerological value of 21. Agyness and her family are big believers in numerology and her mother and sister are both said to have changed their surnames to Deyn.

Dita Von Teese
Who’d have thought that blonde haired California girl Heather Sweet would one day be famous as a raven haired burlesque star? Heather knew she need a new identity for her knew image so she chose the name Dita as a homage to silent film actress Dita Parlo. As for the surname, that came later when she was required one for her Playboy cover shoot. Dita chose Von Treese from a phonebook but a spelling error made her the Dita Von Teese we know today.

SIGHTING: LADY GAGA'S EASTER BRUNCH AT 'TABLE FIFTY-TWO'

Lady Gaga has been to Table Fifty-Two so many times, she apparently has a favorite table. The pop star had brunch Sunday at the Near North neighborhood restaurant. And as is tradition for her, she sat on the second floor. “She was upstairs at her favorite table 80 for our famous Sunday Brunch,” said co-owner and “Top Chef Masters” alum Art Smith. “I sent Easter bunny cakes and fried chicken to her team.”

LADY GAGA POSES ONCE AGAIN FOR VERCACE

After posing in the Italian brand's apparel and accessories, Lady Gaga is looking glamorous in Versace shades. The design house has revealed the first images of its latest eyewear campaign featuring its star spokesmodel. The decor is the same as in Versace's latest handbag and ready-to-wear campaigns. Posing on a couch, Lady Gaga looks both glamorous and sexy. Shot by the fashion photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the singer wears an especially racy black dress with a plunging neckline, a bare midriff and a skirt with a high split. Of course, Lady Gaga is also wearing a pair of sunglasses from the Italian brand's Spring-Summer 2014 collection. Featuring a matte black frame accented with gold, the new shades are as eccentric as the curvaceous blonde seen wearing them.

LADY GAGA'S 'G.U.Y' GOES '90S HOUSE: LISTEN TO RAMI SAMIR AFUNI'S REMIX

Lady Gaga is standing by ARTPOP and her current single despite the fact that radio and iTunes haven’t exactly been kind to her of late. Mother Monster’s latest endeavor is releasing a “G.U.Y.” remix package, which should be gratefully lapped up by fans starved of new material. And the new mixes are definitely worth a listen, particularly Rami Samir Afuni‘s.

That name might sound familiar to some of you. The New York City-based producer was responsible for Kiesza‘s breakthrough hit “Hideaway”, which topped the UK singles chart this week. He brings a similar ’90s house sound to “G.U.Y.”, letting those magical keys run riot over Gaga’s sassy club anthem. Listen to the retro-tastic remix after the jump.

IT'S #MCM: HOW LADY GAGA'S BOYFRIEND TAYLOR KINNEY SET OUR HEARTS ON FIRE

MTV News pays tribute to the sexy TV star — and Lady Gaga's boyfriend — who makes his way onto the big screen in 'The Other Woman' on Friday. He's hot, he's got a ridiculous body and he fights fires (on TV). Of course we are talking about Lady Gaga's longtime boyfriend Taylor Kinney, who is this week's MTV News pick for #ManCrushMonday. Taylor is set to star alongside Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton and Leslie Mann in the upcoming flick "The Other Woman," hitting theaters Friday, April 25, but this 32-year-old has held our attention for quite some time.
Taylor has been a television star for a number of years, appearing on "The Vampire Diaries" and "Fashion House," but it was when he starred alongside Gaga in her hit 2011 music video "You and I" that our jaws hit the floor. I mean, just take a look at those abs. Gaga, you are seriously a lucky lady. Taylor, along with his six-pack, then landed the role of Kelly Severide on the NBC hit drama "Chicago Fire," where he has been setting hearts on fire for the past two years. And if that weren't enough, he also appears on the show's spin-off, "Chicago P.D." Need more convincing as to why Taylor should be our Man Crush of the week? Well, take a look at the pictures below.

LADY GAGA APPROVED DESIGNER IN TORONTO FOR 'FAT'

Benji Wong, otherwise known as Benji WZW, is one of the many unconventional fashion designers flocking to Toronto to present a collection at |FAT| (Fashion Art Toronto) this week (April 22-26).

The Hong Kong native was raised in Toronto and studied architecture at University of Waterloo, before up and leaving for a fashion program at Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. His 2013 graduate collection "That Paradise Would Be A Meme" pulled together everything he learned from both experiences, resulting in a surreal work of art that attracted the attention of a whole whack of contemporary publications. Lady Gaga even wore a jacket from the collection in an eTalk interview.
"Fall in Love With Machinery" is Benji's first endeavour out of school, and according to him, there's no better place to make his Fall/Winter 2014 debut than his hometown on the |FAT| runway this Thursday. After getting a chance to preview the menswear pieces in the flesh, I know he'll fit right in. Taking inspiration from Japanese biker gang bosozoku, the collection narrates a story of hurt and heartbreak. Innovative fabric treatments and meticulously handcrafted details illustrate the push and pull of a poised, polished surface - broken and jagged on the inside. Digital-printed faux leather and couch foam bonded to silk satin give the biker jackets, trench coats, and kilts a structured silhouette; 3D printed embellishments, handpainted belts and holographic imagery suggest there's more to them than meets the eye. My favourite facet is definitely the creepy-cool baby motif found throughout the collection - most notably in the form of a giant helmet.

Always teetering on the fine line between wearable garment and postmodern sculpture, Benji WZW - together with |FAT| - is going to shake up the otherwise conservative Canadian fashion industry one avant-garde menswear piece at a time. Tickets are available online or at the door, at $35 per day or $100 for a full week pass.

LADY GAGA 'G.U.Y' - SONG MEANING

Lady Gaga‘s cleverly titled ‘G.U.Y.’ plays with words, meanings and double entendre in the lyrics. With ‘G.U.Y.’ being an acronym for ‘Girl Under You,’ she is also experimenting with the idea of gender-defined behaviors, role reversals and sexual politics in a relationship. So much subtext in one insanely catchy pop song!
This is what we’ve discerned as the deeper meaning of Gaga’s ‘G.U.Y.’ “I wanna be the girl under you / I wanna be your G.U.Y. / I wanna be the grave and earth / Our sex doesn’t tell us no lies.” Here, Gaga’s narrator seems OK with giving up control and submitting. It’s her assessment of sexual politics, but it’s also her way of letting go and giving in, and not being the one calling the shots. There can often be relief in such a scenario, especially for someone used to making all the decisions. Also, Gaga is the patron saint of the LGBT community in 2014, so playing with the notion of the girl under you being a guy has multiple meanings, and her gay monsters can apply that concept to their read and interpretation of the song. It’s her way of saying whatever it means for you to be a ‘G.U.Y.,’ by virtue of chromosomes or your dating preferences, it’s totally OK.
“I’m gonna wear the tie, want the power to leave you / I’m aiming for full control of this love (of this love) / Touch me, touch me, don’t be sweet / Love me, love me, please retweet / Let me be the girl under you that makes you cry.” The instinct is to chuckle at her millennial phrase about “retweeting,” but what’s more interesting and intriguing is the idea of a further gender role reversal. She says she wants to wear the tie, which could mean she wants to be the “man`” or at least adopt the responsibility of the male power structure in the relationship, so they are swapping the dominant and submissive positions. And the tie could also be a literal device used to bind someone and take control of them. But this doesn’t have to be in the bedroom, either. It could be regarding their communication about anything in life.
“I don’t need to be on top / To know I’m worth it / ‘Cause I’m strong enough to know the truth / I just want it to be hot / Because I’m best when I’m in love / And I’m in love with you.” Here, Gaga’s narrator says she has been in both positions — top and bottom, boss and subordinate — and she is fine with either. She doesn’t need to take the reigns or be in charge. She’s in love and any position suits her as long as she is with the one she loves. That’s the PopCrush analysis of Lady Gaga’s ‘G.U.Y.’
What do you take away from this song?

MISHEARD SONG LYRICS: LADY GAGA AND OZZY OSBOURNE'S WORDS NAMED HARDEST TO UNDERSTAND

If you’ve ever been caught singing the wrong lyrics to a famous tune, you're not alone. A new survey has revealed an alarming number of popular song lyrics misunderstood by the British public. Almost a quarter of people think lyrics to Abba’s Dancing Queen “See that girl, watch that scene, diggin’ the dancing queen” are actually “See that girl, watch her scream, kicking the dancing queen.” Queen’s “We Will Rock You” was the second most commonly misheard lyric, with 18 per cent of respondents hearing “Kicking your cat all over the place” in place of “Kicking your can all over the place”.

Ozzy Osbourne and Lady Gaga topped the Blinkbox poll of artists with the hardest lyrics to understand. Many Brits believed the line in Gaga’s “Poker Face” was “Polk Her Face”, while Ozzy’s lyric “Off the rails on a crazy train” was misheard as “Off the rails on a gravy train.”

'CHIPMUNK CHEEKS': LADY GAGA SHARES SAD SELFIE WITH TWITTER FOLLOWERS AFTER HAVING WISDOM TEETH TAKEN OUT AHEAD OF MAJOR TOUR

Lady Gaga shared a down in the dumps selfie on Thursday after having her wisdom teeth extracted. The 28-year-old singer clutched a large brown stuffed animal in the photo posted for her more than 40 million followers on Twitter. 'Chipmunk Cheeks. Wisdom Teeth out before tour. I can't eat. I'm gonna put some meatballs in a blender,' the superstar wrote along with the picture.

Gaga had her brown hair pulled back and her cheeks were noticeably puffy as she looked out with pretty but sad eyes in the picture. She earlier tweeted about the procedure and her medication: 'Wisdom teeth out. P-p-Percocet p-p-Percocet'. Gaga earlier this moth was the final performer to take the stage at New York's legendary Roseland Ballroom.

She headlined seven shows at the 52nd Street theatre that closed its doors after 56 years. The multi-talented entertainer will launch her ArtRave: The Artpop Ball tour starting in May. Gaga, whose given name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, was forced to abruptly cancel the North American leg of her previous Born This Way tour in February 2013 due to a hip injury.
